Where does it come from ?

In the heart of the Camargue salt marshes lies a unique treasure: Pink Algae. This microalgae, called Dunaliella Salina, is responsible for the beautiful pink color of the salt marshes. Every summer, in August, the algae is harvested. It is during this natural phenomenon, known as the Pink Algae Prodigy, that the algae reaches its peak intensity, coloring the water with a brilliant pink.

A natural anti-aging remedy

Organic Pink Algae from the Camargue region possesses numerous properties for the skin, making it a highly effective natural cosmetic ingredient in the fight against skin aging.

It is present in all our cosmetic products, and has strong antioxidant properties, 10x more powerful than synthetic beta-carotene. It is also rich in carotenoids, vitamins and trace elements, making it a complete and natural anti-aging active ingredient.

But that's not its only secret: this active ingredient has a high concentration of glycerol, which means it has moisturizing, emollient and protective properties - your skin will thank you later!

Notre actif phare s’épanouie principalement sur le salin d’Aigues Mortes, en Camargue, où se trouve la plus grande réserve naturelle de flamants roses d’Europe.

Fun fact : Les bébés flamants roses naissent gris, leur couleur rose provient de leur alimentation. Il se trouve qu’ils raffolent d’une petite crevette rose, qui elle adore manger notre Algue Rose. Cette algue étant riche en caroténoïdes, une fois digérée, les pigments se déposent sur leur peau et sur leurs plumes, leur donnant ainsi cette jolie couleur rose.
